Project Appleseed

Good morning everyone!

We all know that Project Appleseed is primarily a grassroots program, and we rely on our volunteers and students to "Seventh Step" us into more hearts and minds.  There are many ways to do this, and here's another EASY tool for the toolbox.

A week or so ago I did an experiment.  I went on Facebook to the Appleseed page https://www.facebook.com/projectappleseed and invited ALL my "friends" to follow it.

Within 12 hours about 20% of them had accepted.  I don't have a lot of friends, but that was still around a hundred people, and from all over the country.

Now imagine if ALL of us who have FB accounts did the same!  How many more people could we reach with a couple of keystrokes?  And what if those who accept do the same?

Note: If there's a way to accomplish the same end on X or IG, I haven't found it. If someone knows, please share that!

For those of you who don't know how to do this on FB:

Go to the Project Appleseed Facebook page, and find the "three dots" menu


Select "Invite Friends"


 "Select All" and click the "Send Invites" bar at the bottom of the window!
