Project Appleseed

We had eight shooters including two youth brave the heat and humidity for another successful event at Proctor Fish & Game. Thanks to Jim S. and the rest of the board for the continued support and the use of the beautiful grassy range. Several instructors and one student camped on site and braved the 4am deluge.  It was hot, but we took several breaks and stayed hydrated.

mmirate, Nightpoison, and Brent1775 delivered the strikes on Saturday as we completed the instruction. Congrats to Range Dog (242) and Clyde-A-Scope (225) on requalification. Our youth shooters, Conrad and Vince, were very safe and stayed focused as the heat wore all of us down, great job guys.  Joe, Glen, Wayne, Chad, and both Chris W. And Chris L. showed great improvement. Chris L. got his requalification (217) on Sunday along with Range Dog (238,244) and Brent1775 (223,233)

On Sunday we also posted the Parkers Revenge target and broke into two teams of 3. Team 'Lefty Tech Sights' because two students had tech sights nd we made the instructor on the team shoot left handed edged out Team 'Can't Read'

On Sunday we also had the opportunity to stretch out to 100 yards and put the lessons of the KD topic into practice.

Thanks to all the instructors for making the trip, we had nearly 1:1 instruction for the weekend.  We will definitely be back at Proctor.
