The Laramie Rifleman's Boot Camp (RBC) was the highlight of the five events taking place this June at the Laramie Rifle Range (LRR). Overall, we ended up having 42 participants from 10 states; many took part in multiple events.  None of this would have been possible without the continuing support of the Laramie Rifle Range, which has hosted this massive event for the last three years (and other Appleseed events for many years before that!). We are also indebted to the efforts of the local Appleseeders who made sure the event was coordinated with the LRR – thanks to Regular Guy and ALF!

Every participant (and all the volunteers) at the RBC earned something with respect to their marksmanship.

Brian D – Requalified Distinguished on the 25m range, Qualified KD and Distinguished on the KD range, Cold Bore shot and tied for top shooter on our KYL competition.
Ryan K  – New Rifleman shooting irons on the 25m and Distinguished on the KD range! (and Pistoleer™)
Kody H  – New Rifleman on the 25m and multiple quals on the KD range! (and Pistoleer™)

It was an incredible week of fellowship, liberty and hard work out on the firing line. I only have a few pictures including this group photo taken on Sunday.

So what is Project Appleseed Business?  What would the Ghost of Project Appleseed say to us?

"Business!'" cried the Ghost of Project Appleseed, wringing its hands again.  "Liberty was my business; Heritage, History, Freedom, and Pursuit of Happiness, were, all, my business. The deals of Marksmanship were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!"
-Adapted from Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.

FANTASTIC!  Colonial Shooter has got to be grinning.  I know I am.  Did not get to shake everyone's hands, but with those great photos I feel that I did.  It was a real treat to see old friends and new ones.  Congrats to each one of you, shooters and cadre, especially for another SAFE and fabulous event.
Thanks to all for coming from all over this great nation (even Panama, OK), for the hard work and great shooting and for your great attitudes.  You are true Patriots.  Jacob, cleaning the KD paves the way!  As does your BlueHat, Kai.  Special thanks to those who stepped-up. And I thought Sam was crazy...  Look forward to seeing ALL of you next year.
LIBERTAS!

Looks like an amazing event as always!  I hope to make it out next year for sure!
It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan

Thank you Captain for pursuing the organization of this long standing event!
Great Job by all shooters in every weather condition Wyoming threw at you at 7,220' of elevation.  ^:)^
Thank you to our new Orange and Blue hats, welcome to the Cadre.  :)
See you all again in LARAMIE 6-26!!!  :---

In Liberty!

Live Free or Die!!!

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

"Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them." â€"Thomas Jefferson (1775)
