Project Appleseed

Another beautiful weekend in God's country up north.  Project Appleseed was welcomed by East Range Sportsmen's & Conservation Club in the Town of White for our first event of the year up there.  While attendance was down, it was more than made up by the personalities of the attendees.  Gyle and Justin proved to be excellent students and took to heart the instruction and then applied it.

Gyle spent the weekend attempting to earn his requal rifleman using a RIA with iron sights.  While the goal of 210 eluded him, he did put up some outstanding groups and stages with the little gun.

Justin came in Saturday showing he had some skill and by Sunday he proved it by shooting multiple rifleman scores with his rifle.  Best score of the weekend for him was 215. 

Congratulations also goes out to The_Destroyer for earning a distinguished with a 240 and to Mathulu for requalifying.

And to top the weekend off, Gyle agreed to take on an Orange hat.  Huzzah!

I look forward to being back up there in a month to shoot some pistols.
