Questions about RWVA membership

Hey everyone, not to be redundant here but I did a little searching around and couldn't find too much information about RWVA membership.

Is the one year membership based on the calendar year or date of joining?

Has there been any discussion about extending the event discount to cover households not just individuals?

Are there any other benefits for membership beyond event discounts?  I already have access to the CMP through our local conservation club membership.

Good morning, sir

Let's see if we can help you out.

The membership is one year based on the date you joined.  They mail out memberships twice a month, and when you received it, there will be a letter accompanying it that contains your 35% discount code.

Memberships are for individuals only.  Each annual membership pays for itself with one usage of the discount. After that it's gravy.

The best bargain, however, is the 5 year membership, at $99.

The discount is the primary financial benefit. That, and knowing you're supporting Project Appleseed are good reasons to join.  :)

I hope this information is helpful.

I hope I'm not running afoul of the board's rules of decorum with this post, but I figured it would make sense for me to ask my question here instead of making a new thread.

There's a local KD rimfire Appleseed class happening this weekend and I was hoping to use my membership discount during signup. Normally I'd have everything lined up and ready months in advance but this is a last minute opportunity for me, work doesn't normally afford me many opportunities to attend. ( :boohoo: )

I understand that membership documentation is mailed out approximately twice a month (and my poor planning does not constitute an emergency on anyone else's part) but I'd like to ask if it's possible for RWVA staff to send my code electronically?

Thanks in advance!

Mrs. Smith Appleseed membership also meets the CMP affiliate club requirement correct?
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Yessir, it does. They'll ask for a copy of your current member card for purchases.

Afternoon, Mrs. Smith. Any input on my question above? If not, that's fine. Appreciate it!

Good afternoon, sir! I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you, but I'll see if I can get one in time for this weekend's event.

I'll send you a PM with a temporary code to use. Please only sign up yourself with this code or the code you will receive in the mail in a week or so. You'll put the code on the registration page where it says 'Coupon code' - it's near the bottom of the registration page right above the Checkout button.
