Project Appleseed

What a great weekend!! We had 16 shooters and 6 Riflemen (5 new, 1 re-qual)! That's 37.5%. A special shout out to our newest Distinguished Rifleman who scored 232 with open sights and 39 rounds. Awesome.  The weather was cold and a little windy, but we had Cookie keeping the coffee and other drinks hot. Thank you Cookie.   I loved the mix of ages we had on the line. There were 6 William Diamond youth patches given out. The D Rifleman and 1 Rifleman where under 18. Hoozah! Thanks to all of our shooters and instructor cadre for an wonderful, safe weekend.

It really was a great weekend!

While a little on the cold side, for a Nov/Dec event in Virginia, the weather was good.

I watched the shooters improve each day, and the smiles of success on their faces was fantastic to see.

I look forward to sharing the range with them again.
