It was a fun weekend in El Paso Tx where the weather is always great!... (As long as you're on Mrs. Smith's indoor range with Climate control). Shout out to the El Paso community college law enforcement training center for graciously hosting an Appleseed, and providing their awesome event venue.

Our Attendees included 8 shooters, several returning Appleseed attendees, and a few first timers, including several who had never used any firearms before.

We'd like to congratulate, and thank our attendees on how well they followed the instruction, worked through the early drills and dry-fire, and followed the four Safety rules. Their attention and efforts showed on the targets. From the get-go we were seeing impressively tight groups on the first squares targets we shot. Consistently, the majority of the class was shooting close to 8 moa or even better early on. Frew and Addis, having never touched a firearm had very small groups. Frew in particular got 4-5 moa grouping consistently when shooting squares.

History presentations were well delivered and impressively impassioned at times, I want to thank the presenters for sharing their emotions and love of our American Heritage. On day one we shared the stories of Lexington and Concord, and day two led to several fantastic stories of individual heroism.

All of our shooters made great progress on the road to becoming riflemen. Our most impressive increase in points was by Sam, with an increase of 63 points on her final AQT.
I'd also like to congratulate one individual, who just missed 210 by a few points. (Congrats Josh! You'll easily add those last few points with a bit more dry-fire or AQTs). Impressively, 5 shooters hit Morgan's shingle with their first shot on the Hits Count target Sunday afternoon, and Josh completely cleared it for the second time!

Thanks to all, instructors and students for coming out and having a safe, celebration of Liberty this weekend. Lets' do a reunion tour soon!

In liberty,
