Project Appleseed

Hey All,

I need some help - seriously - of course y'all already know that.

Waco - Trail Life - Waco, TX Appleseed November 16-17, 2024 – Trail Life Private Event. We may have up to 40 kids. And we dang sure need help with that many people. PLEASE - sign up and help. The last Waco event we only had 2 instructors signed up. Thankfully at the last minute we had two more signed up.

Hey Kirby,

I can't 100% sign up for this but I think I can probably help.  I should know for sure in about 10 days.  Also, there's a special shoot in Muenster coming up in a little over a week.  I'll mention this to the instructor crew that's up there as well.

Longer term, the North TX range is getting a lot closer to where I'm not strictly required at every event.  I won't be stepping away, but I'm hoping that pretty soon I can spend the occasional event back at Waco & maybe help you guys drive new orange hats.  We need to be pushing for new recruits, you guys could use a hand.

Dang! 40 kids is a great problem to have. When faced with similar numbers, I found relays were life savers. You basically double your coverage. Wish I was closer to help.

Just signed up with my daughter, Ray of Sunshine.
She will be great at individual / small group coaching on the line, working as an RSO etc.  She does ask that she not be given any Points of Instruction beyond possibly doing the eye dominance drill (little bit of nerves doing instruction in front of a large group of peer aged people).
