Scored 218 with a take-down Ruger 10/22 shooting lefty.

One month later scored the same with a proper left-handed bolt-action Savage B22.

Just returned home after working my 1st RBC and Appleseed as IIT this past weekend. Met alot of great people, including Fred. Was able to shoot a couple AQT's as well as KD and Pistol. AQT's improved to 217 and 224.Completed PC1 and PC2.This, and especially the history is GOOD stuff.
Liberty and Freedom and Democracy are so precious that you do not fight for them once and stop.

First Appleseed December 17-18, 2024 at the Charlotte pistol and rifle club. Scored a 216 with tech sights and a Marlin 795. Hoping to renew that rifleman score at the end of May 2025.

I scored rifleman 8 times in May 2025 at Charlotte Pistol and Rifle Club as a follow up to my December score. This time 220's-230's. I'll revisit on Sept. 6-7 with a bolt action this time!

Nice job with some impressive shooting! Running a bolt-action rifle is a fun challenge, for sure. I hope you'll consider asking for an orange hat at your next event so you can help support the program as an instructor!

I actually reached out to my instructors and requested information about that. I am open to that. I'm trying to get to the Rimfire Known Distance or a Known Distance this year so I have a better understanding of the various teaching approaches/stories. I would love to volunteer in the future and support new shooters.

Sim is a rock star if this is who I think it is! We had an awesome event last weekend. Only six folks but 5 patches went out and four of them it was their first patch. And in Sim's case his shooting was on point!
I can firmly state that a bolt action is a challenge but should not be a deterrence to anyone. I shot rifleman with it and finally got a distinguished patch which was my goal for the weekend.
