Our recent event in Williamson was the final Appleseed of the year in New York State, and it was a memorable way to close out the season.  I'd like to extend our gratitude to Williamson Conservation & Sporting Club for being such welcoming hosts - they really pulled out all the stops for Project Appleseed, and I hope this event was just the first of many to come. One of our shooters, Tony C, deserves particular recognition for being our 'local boots on the ground' and coordinating all of our event planning and setup with the club.  This event would not have happened without your enthusiasm and effort, Tony!

We had 17 shooters join us over the weekend, and it was great working with all of you.  Congratulations to our Riflemen who requalified at this event; Linus, Lee, and Mason!  Although we didn't mint any new Riflemen at Williamson, we saw drastic improvement in everyone's marksmanship as the weekend progressed, and some folks are 'knocking on the door' with their AQT scores.  I hope to see you back out on the Appleseed firing lines in 2025 so we can knock out that patch!

For those of you who stuck around to close out the event with the 100yd fun shoot - thank you, that was awesome! Don't forget to 'dial out your DOPE' to return your scopes to their original zero at 25m.  Most of you probably had come-ups somewhere in the range of 6 MOA^, so if your optics are 1/4 MOA clicks that would be ~24 clicks down.

Last but not least - thank you to our wonderful crew of volunteers who traveled in to Williamson to support this event:  MattNH, Dude, Hawkman, OmegaBurn, ChrispyBacon, ThatIndianGuy, LadyRimfire and Yogini - thank you!!

Hawkman - congratulations on earning your Red Hat!

Without further ado, here's a boatload of Event Photos

See you next season!!

Thank you, T.Wolf, for running a great Appleseed. I had no idea you travelled so far to allow us (NYers) to have the opportunity to attend an Appleseed in our state.
And thanks to all other volunteers, the other Red Hats, Orange Hats and Blue Hats!
As you said the facility was excellent and we were blessed with good weather both days.
As always, great instruction.  Hopefully, with work over the next few months on applying the 6 fundamentals I will achieve a Rifleman score next time
Congratualtions to Hawkman!
Hope to see you all at future Appleseeds.

Congrats Hawkman!!

Thank you to Williamson Conservatory for hosting Appleseed. We had a great time at such a beautiful range.

We meet some great people at the event as well as becoming reaquainted with some old friends. Everyone did an amazing job!

Shout out the Hawkman! You did it!! So proud of you for earning your red hat.  ^:)^

It was awesome ending the event taking shots at Hawkmans old hat. Great way to end the season.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
