Friday June 15, 2024 was another great day for Liberty and Appleseed!    ;D

It started off with another beautiful morning at 7,220' elevation in Laramie Wyoming to wrap up the 10 day event -Appleseed Pistol Clinic, IBC, RBC, and Appleseed (rifle). Shooters came from Minnesota, Indiana, Idaho, Ohio, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, Arkansas and Wyoming to be a part of this great event. Our host from the Laramie Rifle Range was the always present Regular Guy who made sure everything was in top working order for the entire 10 Days.  :~

We were fortunate to have two Senior Instructors; M1Bzrk & Captain. We also had lots Red Hats; Guns & Hoses, MN Ward, Jay's Honey Bunny, Indy, Wildman57 and Marathon Girl. The instructor/student ratio allowed great coaching on every POI.  :))

Thank you to Laurie for taking a Blue Hat and flawlessly running all of the admin duties. We are very grateful.

After the National Anthem and thoroughly covering all safety aspects, the morning was kicked off with off with a Hits Count target.  We had 5 new Appleseed shooters on the line with four of them being 11 to 15. A big HUZZZAAAHH to our youth shooters.  :cool2:

Lunchtime Liberty was presented by Instructors ToLiveDeliberately, Regular Guy & Jays Honey Bunny.

After teaching the fundamentals we wrapped up the day with some AQTs. Amy came to prove it by clearing Red Coats, shooting Rifleman (again) and taking a Blue Hat. Thank you Amy!!!  We salute you!

Day 2 of the Rifle Course started with reviewing our fundamentals then getting down to the nitty gritty of shooting some high scoring AQTs. Orange Hats Indy & Travis did a great job with line boss duties to up their ranks.  New Appleseed shooter Ted took home some bacon by shooting an early rifleman score. Congratulations Ted look forward to seeing you on the Appleseed trail. All of our new shooters made great improvement. Keep it up team! ToLiveDeliberately  was an awesome instructor throughout and was promoted to Red Hat. Guns & Hoses and Jays Honey Bunny got to check off some SBIT requirements. (Look for The Captain's report detailing all of the instructor progress over the 10 days.)  ^:)^

Sadly we had to bring the event to a close. New friends and old had to go their separate ways but everyone is looking forward to coming back next year for an even bigger and better event.  :1luvu

Live Free or Die!!!

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

"Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them." â€"Thomas Jefferson (1775)

Well Done all.

Thank you to the new volunteers and to the not so new - thanks for helping make progress on our Mission!

Huzzah!

Dang it!  I missed it again!  One of these times we'll make it up there!!!  As always, looks like an amazing event.
It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan

Congratulations to all the participants I met Saturday...I salute your hard work and accomplishments and enjoyed working with all of you!! Wish I could've been there to see you all shine on Sunday!  I knew you'd accomplish your goals: to misquote Howard Cosell(sp??) about a fighter once..."that(insert man or woman here)'s face was etched with determination..."!! Keep practicing and spreading the mission of Liberty to all you meet. Thanks to those who stepped up and took a hat...we need dedicated people to help us save our Republic, which is in distress. In Liberty, Marathongirl
