Just saw this pop up.  For those folks wondering how to properly maintain their rifles, this is a good reference!

Brownell's is an Iowa-based company. They are a good source for parts and accessories. Their series on the M1 Garand are some of the best videos out there. Thanks for sharing I hadn't seen this yet.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. John Wayne

Thanks for sharing.

I got this a while back to drill a cleaning hole in 10/22 receivers (like the hole that the Brownells receiver comes with): https://gunsmither.wixsite.com/newsite/product-page/cleandrill-10-22-cleaning-rod-hole-drill
You could accomplish the same thing with careful measuring and a steady drill, but I like it.

One thing I keep in my range bag is a 22 brush bent at a 90 degree angle. Allows for a quick chamber scrub while the bolt is locked back, no disassembly required. Helpful for when those tight match grade barrels start to have failures to extract or eject.
