Project Appleseed

Saturday morning was threatening thunderstorms which luckily went away leaving soaking humidity. We had 20 shooters on the line of which almost all were new to the program. Some time was lost in getting everyone properly fitted to their equipment but the lost time was made up in the enthusiasm shown by the shooters. Both marksmanship and history was absorbed and we had several great TPI sessions.  We even snuck in an AQT Saturday afternoon!

Sunday was cloudy and somewhat cooler and after a review and some practice we did a few AQTs which yielded 3 riflemen: Steve (233), Bob(221), and Kirk (212).  Kirk head the call and accepted an orange hat! 

Thank you to the shooters who attended and special thanks to the Young Patriots whe persisted and of course thank you to my fellow instructors for helping to make this event a success.
