This was an incredible opportunity to build an alliance with a like-minded group.  Credit goes to Gugisman for making the connection with our RC to setup a booth.  This event had national leaders for Trail Life covering the entire US.  With 500 attendees looking for outdoor activities and an entity that can conduct marksmanship training along with history, we were a popular booth.

JimsTracn, Jayshoneybunny, and Geek talked with individual attendees about our mission to reignite the spirit of the American Revolution.  We discussed ways our programs can work together to meet Trial Life badge requirements and get our message to a larger population.  Trail Life is an opportunity for Project Appleseed to fill lines in every state each year with a group of fresh participants. 

Many of the participants already knew a lot about our founding fathers and the sacrifices made for us.  It was a very uplifting series of conversations.  Some of the participants were acquainted with our events as well.  We met a couple of folks in attendance that are volunteers with Project Appleseed.  Others have been participants in our events.  Most of the attendees were Appleseed-curious.  They knew our name and had an idea about the marksmanship training.  Few knew about our mission and passion for Liberty.

I want to thank Gugisman for helping make this happen.  I see great things for us coming from the contacts we made.  I also greatly appreciate JimsTracn and Jayshoneybunny for helping in the booth.

Geek: You and your team did great ðŸ'.  The Appleseed booth, I think, had more interest than usual, which is probably due to all attendees being leaders. It is such a blessing for me to see the progress being made between Appleseed and Trail Life. Thanks again for your interest and motivation. We were working with some of them just this morning.

Gugisman kicked off the first Trail Life/Appleseed shoot back on the 21st of November 2015 in Waco Texas. Between the kids and parents we had something like 55 people.

We're working on several private TL only events in the near future in Tejas.

And now it's exploded all over the US. The kids are great. And the parents/guardians too.

Gugis: I still remember the Flag Ceremony one year. It actually bought tears to my eyes. The level of maturity of some the young men was astounding. There is hope for this country yet.

We had a slideshow playing in the background of the booth with pictures of past TX events with TL.  It helped underscore what we can do as partners. 

I was honored to work the booth.  Trail Life has incredible leadership.  The location of the booth allowed us to listen to the presentations.  I found myself enjoying that aspect of this event.  Many of the attendees were as interested in our history aspect as the marksmanship.  A great event all around.

All contact info has been shared with respective state coordinators.
