Wonderful weather, wonderful students!
We had 9 signed up and ended up with 6 on Saturday.   3 returning, 3 new,(2 very new to shooting sports).  It was wonderful to watch the new students improve little by little.  2 of our returning students made huge improvements.
We didn't get an AQT in on Saturday, but I think the students learned a lot.
A quick rainstorm came through and cooled us all off.  Thank heavens for ez ups!!  Good job Pathogen and eaglescouter for continuing to teach seated through the rain shower.
Sunday we had 4 students back out.  We reviewed what we taught on Sat, finished up what we needed to teach and started some AQT's.  We stopped a couple times to work on seated, as a couple students wanted to work on that.    Tim came soooooo close to scoring Rifleman with a 204.  Great job!!  Scores improved on other students as well.
Thank you all for coming out.
Hope to see you again.
Thank you for helping to clean up, it's greatly appreciated.
Thank you instructors!

Yeah, I got bit by the extra bullet bug twice.

The first AQT was 195, but Stage 2 time got called, and I still had 5 cartridges left.

The 204 AQT a 1/2" miss on Stage 1, an extra cartridge on Stage 3 and Stage 4 (that I had time to fire both times, I just miscounted) cost me.
The biggest lesson that I learned this weekend though was that my M&P scope was not set up properly for eye relief so I have been fighting it since installation and didn't know it.
Once that was fixed, I was able to concentrate on body positions.

Pinky finding that she could actually use the cross-legged position without pain was a massive a-ha moment. She can't wait until the end of the month at our monthly match.

A huge thank you to all of the staff this weekend. Pinky and I are looking forward to coming again.

I'll see if I can post some pics that she took.

Pinky was taking pictures along the way, mostly of the instructors and the shooting positions.
These are a few shots from Sunday.

I only got a few shots of the instruction on Saturday, may as well throw them up.

Pinky went to our home range today to adjust her scope for 50'

I think her groups are tightening up.

We just finished our monthly CMP 22lr Sporter match a little bit ago.
I'm now a solid club competitor 285/300 with 8 - 10x hits.
I'm holding my own with a semiauto against dedicated match bolt guns.

Pinky, however, was night and day difference after Appleseed.
273/300 with 3 - 10x hits.
Not only did she destroy her personal best by over 40 points, she also outshot me in prone. 97/100 vs 94/100.

The lessons were learned and implemented, the precision is there, now we have to work on our speed.

Great work by both of you.  Your performance is outstanding.
