Project Appleseed

Summer hit New England with a sunny and 80+ Saturday.  We started with 18 shooters including 12 first time Appleseeders.  We heard the strikes and got the instruction done.  Sunday we lost a few due to other commitments but carried on with 12 returning.  We minted a new Rifleman, congratulations Bobby on your 214 in you first Appleseed.  The memorial volley went off splendidly. 

Thank you to MA crew for the superb instruction and the great work as a familiar crew.  Special thanks to upacreek making the trip from Georgia and bringing her family.  Also thanks for the Dunkin on Sunday morning, you can take the girl out of New England, but you can't take New England out of the girl.

Thank you all for the excellent instruction! I broke a lot of bad shooting habits this weekend. Thanks for a great time. I'll be back with my friends for another one soon.

Thank you guys for letting me crash the party up here.  Thank you MA crew for bringing all the loaners!!!  I think you got my cousin's son hooked.  All the relatives loved the history.  My father-in-law has a copy of Paul Revere's Ride on its way to his house.  He said they would have had a blast 20 years ago and loved how things were instructed.  He just has too many broken bones to get comfortable.

It was neat to see how things run where everything happened.  It's a bit different when you can visit the places we talk about 20 minutes from leaving the shoot.  If any shooters want to see how it's done by me or try the KD shoots we talked about, let me know.  It's a short drive

First, I want to say it was very nice meeting you and members of your family, upacreek, and I hope you had safe travels back home.

MattNH, I wanted to say I VERY much enjoyed being Line Boss, I look forward to doing it more. Also, I know I was a bit nervous at first telling the story of Elizabeth Zane, but once I got over my first time jitters, I had a BALL telling it, I had SO much FUN!! I was also pleased with myself that I only looked at the printout of the story once VERY briefly. I would LOVE to tell her story again and again at future shoots.

Thank you SO much, and it was also nice seeing Round Trip, Jake1918, & lupis42 again as well.
