Project Appleseed

First shoot of the new year! Had 10 shooters on the line. What a fantastic weekend. This is the weather Floridians wait for. Chilly start in the low 40's but a beautiful low to mid 70's in the afternoon.

We had several families turn out for this event. I so enjoy seeing families come out to participate. From old to young. We has an 8yr old that a 10/22 was bigger than and she (from a rest) was shooting in the 160+ range.

All the shooters did well this weekend. We ended up with two new Riflemen! HUZZAH! One of these shooters had never shot a rifle before. Well done!! The other had been to a previous Appleseed and was knocking on that door Saturday. Persevered and on Sunday applied what he'd learned and it paid off!. Several others were right there knocking at that same door.

It's always a treat for me to regale our extraordinary history to folks that haven't participated in our clinics before and see the look of interest and entertain questions as most haven't heard the magnified accounts of April 19, 1775.
