Project Appleseed

What a fantastic pistol clinic this past weekend! 

The Texas summer weather has finally broke, and Fall is here.  The timing is perfect, since this section of the range doesn't have overhead coverage.

A sold out event, and every participant left with better techniques and capabilities than when they arrived.  Three participants rose to the challenge and proved that they were skilled enough to manage speed, accuracy, time limits, target changes and magazine changes to earn the title of Pistoleer™.  Then - each one of them turned around and did it again!   

Three of the participants had never attended a Project Appleseed event prior, and learned a little of what we offer with the rifle program.  They expressed interest, and others were excited to learn that this same range is able to host Known Distance events several times a year.     I'm looking forward to seeing this fine group of shooters back on the line.

I'm very grateful to the four other instructors that made this event a big success.  Pistol clinics are still a new-ish event at this range, but with your help this was a smashing success.

Now, all that said - the shoot boss did make one fatal mistake.  He was so focused on the event that he forgot to take pictures!    Instructors, I know some of you got some.  I bet you can save the shoot boss for this event, one last time
