Project Appleseed

This was the first Known Distance shoot in Colorado in many years.  We had 9 spirited shooters from previous events come out to the Ben Lomond Rifle Club in Ramah, CO to shoot out to 400 yards and convert those 25y Appleseed skills to full distance.  Much improvement was seen by all shooters - there were 2 Riflemen and several that were knocking on the door.  All shooters managed at least some effectiveness at 400 yards.

This range is relatively new to CO Appleseed, and we are very grateful to them for hosting this event.  Having a KD-capable range is a huge boost to the state program.  The warm welcome and hospitality of the club is greatly appreciated.

Great to be back at Ben Lomond GC, a first class facility. Even better, our event was held on a newly constructed 400 yard range that is near perfect for Known Distance!

Given the plentiful number of photographs taken that weekend, it's surprising that none have yet to appear, so post 'em if you got 'em!
