Full line, great improvement over the weekend, superb instructor staff, and typical Texas late summer weather.  Pix following, and anyone else with pix, please post.
"The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed — where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once."

I want to reiterate my thanks to all of the instructors who volunteered their time and knowledge. My dad and I had a great time at our first Project Appleseed event. We're fixing to head out know to practice some of the information we were taught this last weekend.

We've each got five points to make up. Gonna get it in, and get it done! Thanks again!

Thinking about things afterwards, I feel like we went in as a class of white and blue belts, and left a class of brown and purple belts. Congrats again to the two gentlemen who earned their patch!

I love this analogy.

I didn't have the opportunity to attend this Waco event, but I hope to see you there in the future.

Always glad when my babbling can be of use to someone else.

Not sure how to PM or mention other users in this forum; @Ghostring if you peep this, I misunderstood the tool that my dad made for the action screw for the 10/22. He put a piece of aluminum in the lathe, drilled a hole in the center that is slightly smaller than the hex key, chopped off the hex key and tapered it a bit where it goes into the aluminum to start it, then used a Gran Marteau to drive her home.

Also not sure how to edit posts. I swear I used to be good at this stuff when I was a lad.

We're about an hour and a half from CCC in College Station/Navasota. So hopefully we'll be able to attend another one soon.
