Project Appleseed

An entire family unit took to the line on Saturday's one day, sold-out event.  As a clear demonstration of 7th stepping, a full spectrum of skills were represented, with several former Riflemen, several beginners, and some intermediates looking to hone their skills, with half of the group new to Appleseed.   

With sunshine, cool breezes, eight shooters with the same brand, and sporting optics on each, exercised their technique following instruction, and thoroughly enjoyed the history. As a family unit, there was plenty of good banter, words of encouragement, and just the slightest indication of internal competition amongst the students!

A very enjoyable day, with 2 family members achieving the monicker "Rifleman."

Wish I could have joined you shooters, but I'm looking forward to seeing some of you in October at our RKD. I know you're looking forward to pushing them 22s out to 200 yards. Huzzah!

As one of the brothers and sisters who completely filled the lined this Saturday, including our two parents, we absolutely LOVED this event on so many levels.   It was so great to bring our family to this instruction and we really enjoyed the history!

It was a great day, filled with newly learned skills, and a fine way to share this opportunity with Our Team!

ps: I highly recommend getting your family to fill a line - nothing quite like comparing stories and targets when you go all go home later to watch a movie, and revel in the day's events!
