So my push into Project Appleseed is actual to get me out of the current military course of fire mindset back towards marksmanship being I was lucky enough to consolidate my rifles into two Springfield Armory M1A Loaded rifles. Additionally, I have a Ruger Gunsite Scout. After reading the forums, I can see I need to invest into a Ruger 10/22 to work towards my Rifleman.

Nice rifles!

How do you like the scout?  I've been thinking about one....

Sweet rifles I've Ben tuning up my M1A for KD work also.
I have come here to chew gum and teach riflemen the art of shooting one hole groups and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Do you ever change to a new rifle thinking it will make you better?

I bought the RGS because I wanted to buy an M1A but couldn't afford it at the time. Then I fell in love with the rifle. It is the handiest length and weight for a .308 rifle. It feels like a do-all rifle. It helps that it shoots great too.
