Project Appleseed

We had a great group of ladies join us at Henry County Sportsman Club for the first Ladies Only Pistol Clinic. We had ladies travel from the local area and from across the state for this event! The weather was hit or miss Saturday with rain on and off. We cleaned up outside early on Saturday due to an incoming thunderstorm but these ladies took advantage of dry firing with demo pistols inside. They worked hard on grip, stance and NPOA while utilizing the practice time.

Sunday started with a thunderstorm that luckily ended before we started the day. Sunday started with ladies eager to put their practice to the test at the firing line. We were able to narrow down several grip and stance difficulties. The ball and dummy drill provided great feedback for the students leaving them with specific areas to work on. Even with some delays and equipment difficulties, these ladies persevered throughout the weekend.

Great work throughout the weekend ladies! There was so much progress made, be proud of the improvements you made! Looking forward to seeing you in the future!

I greatly thank Third Degree and Doc Willi for helping the entire weekend; also to Bailey and Topper for helping on Saturday. Thank you to Henry County Sportsman Club for hosting us for the weekend and for providing an awesome lunch for us!

Really wish I could have been there this wknd. Glad the shooters improved through out the weekend though.

I want to echo Charley's comments about the enthusiasm displayed by all of the ladies. We had a range of experience on the line and all participants took the instruction and put it into practice. We all wanted to be outside for range time, but the indoor work was beneficial because the students received a lot of one-on-one instruction with demonstrator pistols.

Ladies, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you at future clinics.

Doc Willie, it is always good to see you and work the line with you! It was an honor to meet your better half. She is a real trooper!

Other than the weather, it was a great weekend with a good group of ladies, all of which had a great learning attitude.
Third Degree, it is also a pleasure to work with you and I always enjoy it.
