Superheat

Another great weekend at Fenton Lakes Sportsman's club.  Thank you to Andy, the board of directors and all the members for their continued support for Project Appleseed.
The weather was spectacular.  Upper 70s on both days made for some short sleeve shooting.  Considering 3 inches of snow fell just 4 days earlier, we were blessed with some great weather.  All this heat made for many rifleman.
Congratulations to our RIFLEMEN: George- first time appleseeder, Brad- requalify, Jon- requalify, Andy-requalify 210 with a bath from the waters flowing under the North bridge in concord (kind of) and Chip- requalify with 249! great shooting men.
Everyone's marksmanship improved greatly.  Lee, Tim, Eldred and Tom were shooting very well.  I know they will be wearing the rifleman patch soon.
Austin was sooo close and will burst through very soon.
Matt, Alex and Jay struggled with equipment issues, but they all pushed forward like true Riflemen.
Special thanks to all the instructors who made this event run so smoothly: Pocket Watch, T.L., Wingwrench, Icy chicken, Grindstone, Mr. Surplus and T.Wolf.

I look forward to seeing everyone on the Appleseed trail,
Superheat.

Another great Patriots Day in the books! It was a good shoot (even if I spent a few hours in my car with food poisoning! yuck!)
I loved working with all of you! It's awesome when I see groups get smaller and smiles get bigger throughout the weekend!!!  ^:)^
Thank you all for coming out! I hope to see each one of you on the line again soon!
Congratulations to all those Rifleman! And to those of you knocking on the door, keep up the good work! Practice those mag changes and getting into position!
And now as always.... (I didn't get as many as normal, but here we go!)

A great time spent with a bunch of quality people. Some new acquaintances, some acquaintances move up to friends. With Andy, I was able to hear some of fond memories not listened to for nearly a quarter century.

I do hope to see many of you shooting rifleman scores yet this Summer. You can do it!! Some practice added to your new found abilities will get you there...
