The Great State of Alabama has conducted another Ladies Only Pistol event.
What a great group of Shooters!
I want extend our deepest gratitude to Don Eiermann, owner of Hobbs Island Shooting Range (HISR).  Don is a tremendous supporter of Liberty and Project Appleseed!
Thank you to the Shooters for allowing us to be part of your lives for the day.  Time is the most precious thing we have.  I thank you for yours.
Instructors arrived around 7:30ish after a great breakfast at that fine dining establishment La Casa de Waffle, where we held an instructor meeting.  The instructors headed down to finish setting up the range.  We had 5 Shooters in Pistol Bay 3.
We had history and instruction on safety at the line. Then, we brought pistols to the line.  We started with the "Tombstone" exercise target with a few rounds to warm up.  Next, it was on proper grip of the pistol, chamber checking, Isosceles stances, centerline index and natural point of aim.
We practiced each skill using dry fire exercises for each block of instruction.  A great learning experience for all!  There was improvement throughout the line.
After the practical exercises, we proceeded to the PQTs.  I look forward to seeing all of the shooters again for more PQTs.

I can't possibly express my gratitude adequately to Tennessee Beast.  Beast is great person and an awesome instructor.
I hope to see you all 10 July 21 for the Pistol event at B&B.  I would love to see you all back at HISR 19-20 June 2021 for the Rifle event!

I love Appleseed, too!  You meet the best people!  I thoroughly enjoyed working with each and every one of you and hope to see you at another event.  I didn't take many pics, but I think I captured the event.  Gary earned his 50 event pin on Saturday and I was glad to present it to him (for some reason I look happier than he does).
