Elements of a comprehensive Rimfire KD for Instructors:

Wind....check
Rain....check
Cold....check
Ice/hail.....check

A determined bunch of instructors....check!

7 of us gathered at the Hat Creek Rifle and Pistol Club's range for a weekend of shooting a 200 yard Rimfire KD.

It was challenging.

The weather ensured that we would put any and all knowledge about wind and weather affecting our shooting to use.

It was fun.

Yes, I said fun.  We encouraged and assisted each other in any way necessary.  We laughed and joked when two of us "shared" a target.

2 claimed the right to a Rimfire KD strip.  2 claimed the right to the Morgan's Rifleman certificate and fame.  They were the same two...Chris (Pathogen) scored a 47 and hit the Morgan's shingle in both prone and standing!!  Matt (just.a.guy) scored a 40 and hit Morgan's shingle in prone!!

Congrats to both of you!!!

Thank you to all of you for coming up and making this a wonderful learning and team building event.
