Project Appleseed

What a great weekend! There were 11 women that joined us for the weekend. We had first timers and returning ladies coming out to enjoy a weekend of shooting! We had a very unique group of shooters and instructors for the weekend...we had THREE generations participating this weekend in TWO families! What an awesome way to the spend the weekend!

We had perfect weather for Ohio for the weekend! While the mornings were cooler in the 40's, the afternoons brought 50-60 degrees and sunshine!

Saturday brought a day of learning the basics and getting rifles sighted in. We had some groups that were promising for Sunday. Sunday brought a review, more practice and working toward a riflewoman patch!

We added 1 new riflewoman and had 2 re-qualifications (including the shoot boss!). We hope to see everyone out again! Everyone showed a lot of progress and perseverance throughout the weekend. Keep practicing, utilize those Rifleman Guidebooks, and we look forward to working with you all again!

Congratulations to Vicky for earning her patch at her very first event! Congratulations to SlowandSteady for re-qualifying to earn the limited edition patch!

We couldn't have done this without the gracious hosting by Henry County Sportsman Association. Thank you to the club and to the club President Mary for making a delicious lunch both days this weekend. Thank you to Third Degree, Meadow, SlowandSteady, Black_Bird, Aliquippa, and Shadow870.

Outstanding work to Ladies and cadre alike!  Two families with three generations participating?? That's amazing. I hope to see photos soon!

All of the shooters brought a willing and teachable attitude to this Ladyseed event. Even the first time participants demonstrated remarkable improvement over the results from Saturday morning Redcoat.

The Three Strikes presentations were well received, as were the stories of dangerous women of the revolution.

Once everyone got into the swing of shooting AQTs, the competitive nature of some of the shooters was very evident.

Great weather and great team. I am honored to have been a part of this event!

Sorry it took me so long, but here are the pictures I took from the weekend. It was a really good shoot with everyone making a lot of progress in their skills. Hope to see everyone again soon.
