First public Rimfire KD at Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. We had some good and we had some really bad things happen. The bad was beyond our control. A massive storm front arrived just after lunch on Sunday. We were flooded out. Before this happened we shot three BSZ AQTs and discovered two rifles with critical but solvable failures. Saturday had been a much better day. Despite high winds, the day was clear and pleasant. Three Rimfire KD patches and one Rifleman patch were awarded. In total, we shot six AQTs. We could have trimmed the schedule and made this a one-day event. That should be an option in our future. Congratulations to Stephen and Kevin on requalifying as Riflemen and earning the Rimfire KD patch. Jason was honored with his Rifleman patch and Rimfire KD. Ray, Sam, and Howard worked diligently and the Rimfire KD patch will soon be a reality for them. Sieggie received his hard-earned and much-deserved 50 event recognition pin at this event. HUZZAH!

Congrats to all who even showed up. Rimfire KD's present a special set of challenges, and facing and overcoming those challenges is fun. Both to do, and to watch others do.

Congrats Stephen and Kevin on the requal and the RKD trophy. Keep up the requals!

Special congrats to Jason on the double whammy! Welcome to the club!
