Wow! What a great shoot!

Filled (but spacious) lines, beautiful weather, and an awesome group of shooters including a designated marksman. :snipersmi

To maximize this one day shoot we divided into two groups on separate bays.  Based on shooters previous Appleseed experience they received instruction more similar to our typical Saturday or Sunday course.  But we all came together to share the history sections which led to great discussions.

And boy did everyone give it their all!  Despite equipment issues, the marksmanship steadily improved leading a string of rifleman patches being given out; congrats to Charles, Jason, Charles, and Eric.  We hope that many of you will be able to join us for the KD shoot next month.

Special thanks to the instructor corps for hustling to make two lines possible and especially to Tennessee Beast for doing an early morning drive to fill out our team.  O0

Here are some pics with more coming - including a 210 ceremony!

Big John

Good event. I got to run a line with 5 experienced shooters. Had the Two Charles's getting patched at lunch, followed by Jason on our side.

Not too warm, some clouds, good day for Appleseed.

Tennessee Beast

This was my first Indiana event and was so happy I got to spend the day with such fine people. I plan to be back. Here are some pictures

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin, 1775

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."  George Washington 1790

"[T]o preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them…"
