With a storm front on the way, we decided to hold a 600 yard shoot at the Vets Shooting Center. Three of us were shooting in Service Rifle category with slings, the others were shooting precision bolt rifles in the F Class.

The day was excellent with a ten mile per hour wind, which was steady, so windage changes were kept to a minimum. I was shooting an LRB M14 with Vortex PST 1x4 scope, the others were shooting AR15's(Mouse Rifles!) ;D. Good scores were shot by the Service Rifle competitors, the F Class competitors, shot well too. Always, a good time is had at our weekly competitions, possibly an Appleseed KD will be conducted here at some point in time.

As usual, we invite all who might happen to be in our AO and want to shoot with some old hand Riflemen, give us a shout,we will likely saddle up and meet you at the range!

Quinncannon, out.

QC,

you guys were prescient to shoot ahead of the storm. It is shaping up to be a doosey. And as always, kudos for getting out there every week, honing those Rifleman skills to a fine edge. It's motivation to the rest of us.
