Project Appleseed

What a beautiful day for KD in northern Arkansas! I met fellow Appleseeder, ArcEagle14 and other Riflemen for some 600 yard shooting on the NRA High Power 600 yard competition target used for XTC and MRP. Along with Service Rifle shooters we had some F class shooters, who shoot with a bipod and rear bag. We started at 0930 and finished at 1500.

We shot four strings of fire, 2 sighters with 20 rounds for record. Shooting went well with good scores achieved!

This E Target system is really working out very well, the owners of VETS, will be hosting some NRA High Power matches sometime later this summer and are open to hosting KD Appleseeds as well.

VETS have been hosting Appleseeds, at no cost for nine years now, with 2-3 Appleseeds held each year. They are worthy of our support!
