Perfect fall weather.

Mid 80's, light breeze.

25 folks came out Saturday.  4 of them youth.  It was really great to see all of you come out to enjoy the wonderful weather.  Yeah, it did get a bit toasty, but not like a July or August event.  :)

We did the safety briefing, got student's rifle's on the line and started teaching.  I was amazed at the attention that even the youngsters paid to the Instructors teaching, then everyone put what we taught to work right away. We had some returning students, which is always great to see.  A lot of the students were fairly new to shooting, particularly the way we teach, but they all made progress.

A break for lunch and some wonderful history.

Back to the line after lunch, finished up teaching.  No AQT's Saturday, but lots of good work from everyone.

I got to give the youth their Young Patriots patch.

Then I had the great honor of promoting Chris (aka Pathogen) to Red Hat!!  Well deserved!!  We retired his old orange hat, and it is now fully ventilated.

We cleaned up and headed out for the day.

Sunday, showed a huge number of students who didn't come back out.  I did get a couple emails from one  and one family.  Hope you all are feeling better and we'll see you next time.

Sunday reviews, then a break for lunch and some DOM's and Dangerous Dames.

AQT's after lunch.

G. scored the first rifleman score with a 218.  Nice job.

Leo got two back to back scores, 221 and 230!!

Great job to both of you!

Handed out three more Patriot patches to the youngsters that were out for Sunday.

Clean up and end of day.

It was a wonderful weekend.

Thank you to those who stayed and helped us clean up and tear down. It is very much appreciated.
