We had a great 2018 Memorial day weekend Appleseed at Manchester (Arnold AFB) Tenn. with a great crew of Appleseed Volunteer instructors and a great group of participants.  Even better we had seven new Riflemen out of nine participants, and two shooters both knocking on the door to a Rifleman score.   We also gained four new Orange hats and promoted Rustygun to IIT4.   Participants came from the local area, Knoxville, Memphis and Mississippi.  Up to 80 percent chance of rain was forecasted for both days, but we only had a few minutes of very light rain Saturday and no rain on the rifle range on Sunday.  Both days there were heavy rain storms all around the rifle range, but "divine providence" shined down on us.

We had a great Appleseed in every way this weekend. No rain, great group of shooters, and a lot of Riflemen. Not to mention the most orange hats given out at one AS I have seen. The shooters who didn't patch were very close. One more event and they will patch. Appleseed is growing in TN and that is a good thing. Looking forward to the next one and working with the new orange hats. Even got a little work out of the Shoot Boss lol
