Project Appleseed

The second Appleseed event at Logan's Ferry Sportsmen's Club this year turned out very differently from the first.  For example, we weren't laying in snow and mud and getting snowed on.  As a matter of fact, it was a beautiful weekend at a great shooting range.  Those who attended persisted through two days of heat and sunshine, and showed marked improvement in their shooting ability.  This class was also notable for their participation in the history presentation. 

When the smoke had cleared, Chip had cleared a Redcoat, thereby being inducted into the 1st PA Regiment of Rifles, and re-qualified with a 224.  He followed that up with a 244!  Lewis improved steadily, nearly earning a Rifleman patch before the long days in the sun took their toll.

Thanks again to Logan's Ferry Sportsmen's for hosting us this year, and we hope to be invited back to this fine facility next year.

And, to end on a high note, glock1911 passed his Instuctor PC.  He looks dashing in his RED boonie hat!
