On December 24 the Southern Illinois Coordinator put together a post on the Illinois Facebook commemorating the Battle of Trenton.  The address is as follows: fhttps://www.facebook.com/pages/Project-Appleseed-Illinois/247861531997648?fref=.  This post received over 200 likes, 70 shares, and thousands of views.  In total contacts and promotional value, I was as effective as months worth of Libertyseeds.

I am posting this here because of limited access elsewhere on the forum.  First, I want to publically commend Mutti for this wonderful promotion of the program.  Second, I am wondering why others have not commented on this before me.  This is exactly the type of exposure and promotion we should be doing to bolster our numbers.  Our volunteers should always be congratulated for a job well done.

This post was shared numerous times, viewed by 10,586 folks and generated 11 comments (all new folks). It did have an investment of $40 (paid for in part by a previous attendee who has become a Blue Hat).

The NRA Educational Grant Last year also paid for selected promotional shoots resulting in 48K views for an $80 investment (4 x $20).

I expect further analysis in 2015 will show a slow, but steady build up.

* I wanted to note that I did not compose this it reached out to someone who gives a presentation on this. If anyone has a presentation/piece they would like on FB - RedFox24 is the contact for Illinois FB.
