First day is complete with 14 shooters.  Day 2 getting ready to start , more to come...

AK

I was only able to instruct on Day 2, so I didn't see where all our shooters started, but I saw a lot of improvement during the 2nd day. I was glad to be there when Dave earned his Rifleman's patch and later took an orange hat. He will make a great instructor. We had a lot of young people at this shoot. Always good to see our "young patriots" on the line. I am always happy with the chance to work with Rbkl, The Nailer, Shooter 30.06, and Outta Ammo. Sorry to have missed hearing the stories of the three strikes on Saturday.  That never gets old. Enjoyed the Spirit of 1776 story related by Shooter. A weekend spent at an Appleseed shoot is a good weekend!
I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free.

Sounds like another fine shoot at LeRoy - Congrats Dave!

What a great crew and can't wait to see some photos :-)

Another great weekend at the Leroy Rifle and Pistol Club, we had 17 great Americans come out and share the weekend with us 8 of those were young shooters.   The weather Sat. was wonderful right up until the end when an ominous looking thunderstorm came rolling in which forced us to pick up early but we finished out the day in the Club House with some history.  Good progress was made on Sat. and we picked up where we left off on Sun. which provided us with one new rifleman who stepped up and took an orange hat.  I would like to thank all the shooters who came out each one of you brought with you great attitudes and personalities which makes me smile when I recall the weekend.  I would like to thank all the instructors who came out to help without their help the weekend would not have been a success.  Pictures to be posted soon.

RBKL

What a great weekend at Leroy!   Great group of shooters and instructors.  It was good to see so many youth come out for an event.   Good to see a few familiar faces and some new ones.  Here are a few photos.

Free ammo for the youth - here is a photo of some of the youth with their ammo.

Shooter30-06

This was a very nice shoot at a very nice facility.  I first want to thank the Leroy Rifle and Pistol Club for hosting the event.  Second, congratulations to David for shooting a 247 on his AQT and taking a hat.  I wish I could say I taught him everything thing he knows but that is inaccurate even by an attorney's standards!  I want to congratulate the other shooters who made fantastic strides.  Matt's 204 was very close!  Last but not least, I want to thank my fellow instructors for their wonderful cooperation and comradeship.  There is a reason I look for your names on the signup sheets!
