Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.

An incredible weekend. 20 Students and Instructors gathered on "Our Green" to enjoy History, Heritage and Marksmanship. From ages 10 through 75 - we not only identified that the Regulars were out, the discovery that We could stop 'em in their tracks at 300 yards made for a marked improvement. Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky were represented.

Remember that on April 19, 1775 hard decisions were made in an instant. Today we have more time to consider our Freedom and Liberty. In thanks to those who sacrificed on that day and the 8 difficult years to follow, the Flame of Liberty exists. It is our responsibility to ensure it is never extinguished.

Epic! (Mike of the Beard needs no motions to be Epic  ;D ):

AJ and Adam - Keep working on those Steady Hold Factors - so much improvement. Your attention to detail was inspiring.    Robert and Don - seeing 3 Generations together was incredible. Fine job with those young Men.  Wright City is very close. We also have Effingham at the end of August.

Anthony - liked that Sig did ya'? Remember your gear is just part of the process. Great improvement.
Unbridled Liberty in KY is a great resource and KY State Coordinator.

Alex - 3rd time around and we've both come a long way from Clinton. Once form and time merge - it will all click together. Andrew - Great to see you again and thanks for all the assistance. Means much to see such a supportive Father on the line. Connibear will look forward to hearing from you. He is the MO State Coordinator.

Annette - So nice to hear of your Rosebud Appleseed experience and that you are continuing on the path to Riflewoman. Very nice improvement and once that arm heals up I believe the relaxing process will be easier. Please keep an eye on the schedule and let us know when we will see you again. Connibear or Thursday in MO would be excellent contacts for the future

Jordan and Trent - Gentleman by the end of your time this weekend the improvement was startling. Keep working on your Transitions and timing. I'd also like to commend you on the safety shown. Very nice.

Mike and Connie - seriously? Staying up until midnight to get the rifles adjusted, putting in an improvement of over 100 points each on the AQT, and smiling on Sunday @ the 100 yd line? Keep working on those groups and see you on the Trail!   Ladyseed in the Fall - see you there?

Thanks to all the Attendees and Instructors for another great Weekend.

Please take a moment to thank our Sponsor Cabela's and the Range for the Opportunity to enjoy the 3rd Annual Event. Without their tireless assistance yet again - our Appleseed Family might never have met yours!

HEY! What Mutti Said!   ^:)^

Intrepid Patriots braving the sweltering heat!

BIG H/t to Cabela's for the sponsorship!

We saw a lot of barely on the paper go to very small little teeny tiny groups by Sunday afternoon.

Perseverance!  You will succeed!

As always a great time to renew old friendships and create new ones.

Alex- keep working on consistency and TAKE YOUR TIME!

Doc - the transitions are where you will succeed.  Slow becomes smooth, smooth becomes fast.

Jordan - Opa is very proud of all the growing and improvement.  Now we have a goal for our practice time together!

Trent and Chad - Really had a great time.  Your improvement from Saturday morning to Saturday evening was amazing!  Next time you will be ready to make even more progress.

To see the light come on during the Sunday afternoon mini KD as we tied all of the IMC and KD classrom into actual use moving from 25 to 100 was cool.  Several AHA! moments.

Until next time, keep the muzzle in a safe direction, remain calm and do IMC!

So you're still a cook?  Hey, at least you are here, which is a whole lot better than everyone else not here.  PERSEVERE!  You WILL  succeed!

I only made it for half the weekend but got to meet some new friends and some returnees.  I am glad to know each and every one of you.  Keep up the hard work and remember...this is a journey...get solid with the fundamentals and the patch will come.  The patch is only the beginning...all it means is that you have successfully completed the first step to becoming a rifleman...there is sooooooo much more for us to learn.  I look forward to seeing everyone next time.

Just a few more - too good to miss:

Jordan's 100 yard target :

Jordan - who stuck it out with his Cricket while working it as a Lefty - Quite the Challenge. Once Jordan broke 150, he progressed to a Compact 10/22 and showed remarkable discipline :

Great pics! Thanks for putting on an awesome Appleseed event!! You guys are super organized and a pleasure to spend a weekend with. To all the instructors, I appreciate all the help given to Alex. He has improved greatly since his first Appleseed. We will see you at another Appleseed event and continue to promote them to keep the fire of liberty burning.

Best wishes and continued success to you all.
