Saturday morning started with great weather and 5 shooters who were ready to learn!

We started shooting Red Coat targets, and although everyone did well, we saw that some improvements could be made.  All of the shooters were very attentive and interested to all instruction.  With dry fire practice first for the 6 steps of firing the shot and NPOA, all shooters showed good groups with our first round of squares.  And, with shooting 5 squares, we were ready for IMC.

By the end of Saturday, we had 1 Rifleman with a score of 210, and no one had a bad score.  By the end of the day Sunday, after overcoming a storm, we had another Rifleman with a score of 212, and our first Rifleman re-qualified several times.

It was nice to see a father and son out together shooting.  It was also nice to see everyone so thoughtful during the history presentations.

For the shooters who did not score Rifleman, please don't give up!  Continue to practice with dry fire, and attend another Appleseed, because everyone was very close to a score of 210!!

It was nice meeting new friends this weekend, and I hope to see everyone again at another event.  I hope each shooter brings a friend with them to their next Appleseed, and continues to remind others where our liberty originated with a new piece of history you learned over the weekend!

As always, it was great working with all of the instructors!

Had a great time!

I'm already signed up for October.  Parker is sure he will shoot better than 210 and my daugher will be attending as well.

Thanks to everyone that volunteered!
