What can I say, not rain nor wind nor soggy targets could dampen our spirits on Saturday.

All the instructors really stepped up and made it a great event. Our first timers on the line ThePoet, Pawzzz, and Preacher worked like they were old salts.

A BIG thanks to the other instructors that jumped in last minute to help out. NeilR and Fox4 are true professionals and DAR Patriot spent the day with a VERY new shooter. Most kids would have given up after a while, but Melissa kept her engaged all day long up until the very end. Special thanks to L0ck3 who must have had a heck of a ride home in the rain, hope to get to work with you again.

Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club let us use the Clubhouse for some brief dry-off/warm-up breaks which were very much appreciated.

And of course Adena who covered me on a few things I forgot...

I'm looking forward to the next event with this great bunch of folks.

This was an amazing April 19th Appleseed! I was impressed by the tenacity and endurance the crew and shooters had for what turned out to be an all-day rain event. Fortunate for us there was a roof over the shooting line.

Thanks to the hosts at the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club for their facilities especially being able to rendezvous in the clubhouse for the strikes.

This being only a one day Appleseed, I  do hope that those who came for this special one day event can return to see the full weekend as a (sunny) Saturday and Sunday Appleseed.

Until the next one, by the numbers, plus 1.
Thanks.

It was a pleasure working with you.  Thanks for everything.  Looking forward to the next one.

We had a great group of shooters with a can-do attitude the entire day.  Anyone that will stick out the rain and wind for the entire day like that truly knows what they are about!

A great event!
