There was a good group a week ago in FBG.  The weather was nice, and our line was pretty full.  Everyone started out doing pretty well, and it seemed like there was a lot of progress too.  We had four people shoot rifleman scores: Lamar, Steve H., Steve M., and Ron.  ^:)^  There were a couple more right on the edge too.  This just means there are more excuses to go shooting, right?

The resounding response when asked about how they heard about appleseed was to point to someone standing next to them and say from this guy.  Thanks everyone, for spreading the word!  I'm glad to participate in something that you all feel is worthwhile.  That's what keeps us volunteers doing what we do.

Speaking of, thanks again Tim, for stepping up and taking that hat.  Thanks also to the whole crew: Carl, Everett, Mark, Jerry, Don, Jeremy, Sunny and Tonya.  You make this shoot the good thing that it is.  Carl, welcome back to Texas!

Also thanks to KNS Precision, a Fredericksburg based company that sponsors our shoots.  http://www.knsprecisioninc.com/

I hope some of you post pictures below.  I know I didn't take any.

There were also a couple of people who heard about it online/podcasts. Our PR push is working!

Happy to be back in TX. I was surprised to have so many highly capable students, but of course, we are in TX!  **)
Congrats to the Riflemen! For those who didn't make it this time, practice, practice. Read the handouts, know the 6-steps so well that they happen automatically each shot. Find your natural point of aim and Dry fire - Over time you will develop "NPOA memory" and like the 6-steps, it will become automatic.
Sign up for the next Appleseed: http://appleseedusa.org/search-states-display.php?qstate=TX&statename=Texas. Oh, and bring a friend!

Will you post the pictures of the ones receiving a patch?

Stormy

Hey guys,
I appologize for the delay on posting photos! I've had some technical difficulties.
I have lots of really great pics of everyone at the shoot. We are working through the issues and will hopefully get them posted this weekend!
Again I appologize for the delay! I completely understand the want and need to view these meaningful photos. We will get them posted ASAP! Thank you for your patience :)

PaleRider

Don't forget to post your Red Coats, too :).

A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."

I open my pictures with Microsoft office picture manager and then I resize them to 522x392 pixels. Then I save the file with a new name ( Appleseed 5-22-14 resize) for example. This way you can load about 15 photos at a time to the forum without any problems. If you need my help---call me. Two Wolves  :cool2:

Man I wish everybody knew how to edit/resize pics  - you don't know how much better that is on our server load and disk space. Not to mention those of us in the sticks without super high speed internet.
