Project Appleseed

With no one braving the deepest month of the severe winter we've been having, March brings in our first shoot of the year at the Elstonville Sportsman's Association.  We had 7 shooters on the line both days including 5 return seeders and 2 fresh faces. 

Saturday brought us a nice relatively warm & sunny day, but a lot of wind with gusts well into the 30s.  Sunday followed with a calmer but much chillier day of shooting.  It did manage to crest over the freezing mark by a few degrees, dashing upon the last bit of winter's melting ice the hopes of this being considered a Winterseed... so sad :-(

Darren (aka "D"), at his 2nd Appleseed event was our only new Rifleman this weekend shooting a 217 on our one and only QDAQT on Saturday.  Congrats!    D has also stepped up and accepted the orange hat making him PA's newest Instructor.  Thanks D!

Bob & Art, both return 'seeders, both repeated that which makes them Riflemen.  Nice job, guys!

Art 'dragged' his son Aaron along to this event and Bob dragged his nice Kaitlyn along (or should I say she dragged him!).  It was their first time as well as Darren's nephew Tyler.  All made significant improvements.  Our own instructor Z brought his son as well who also got better & better as the weekend progressed.  Keep practicing!  PA needs more Riflemen, especially young ones!
