We originally scheduled this event as open to the public but when it became apparent we would be short on signups we changed it to instructor-only and invited guests. We have a wonderful group of dedicated Patriot cadre in the tri-state area (Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama) and we couldn't think of a better way to wrap up a good year than with a little more trigger time.

The weather was cold, for North Georgia, and windy which made it even worse. We had a leisurely start with some sighters to make sure everyone was on and then got to the AQT's completing two before breaking for dinner (that's what you northerners call "lunch").

When we started back we moved to handguns with Rusty conducting an abbreviated "Appleseed Pistol Clinic" for the group. This gave everyone a good feel for the COF and we may try to schedule some events later this year. One shooter, Gary P., who should be in an orange hat, actually qualified according to the current Appleseed Pistol Clinic standard. Way to shoot Gary.

Thanks to fellow instructors, Rusty, SureShotSpartan, Regulator, Overmountain Man, Johnny Reb, Tellico, and Bowditch. We were also honored to have fellow patriots inSANEmom, Big Country and Appleseed Pistol Clinic qualifier, Gary P.

We're looking forward to another great year in the tri-state promoting Liberty to all who will listen.
