Man-oh-man.
What was to be a possible wet weekend turned into a honest to goodness Winterseed. After a fairly dry, but rather cool Saturday, mother nature lets us have it. Temps at freezing and constant rain. About half of the students could not make it back for day 2 due to ice and snow. Those that did, braved the AQT for a short while. That is until the thunder and lightning began, bringing our event to a halt.
But even so, 2 Rifleman scores were shot. And a newly forge Rifleman and Riflewomen emerged. Outstanding effort by all. Get that dry fire in and get back out this coming year with your friends, family and neighbors.

this was my first appleseed experience... and it was GREAT! instructors taught, modeled, and mentored the entire weekend. TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE! thanks to all! and boy, am i glad i stayed for sunday! got my "winterseed" rifleman patch! woo-hoo!
