How much ammo to bring?

When I went to my first Appleseed weekend back in September, I used 500 rounds of 22LR. So, that suggestion is right on.

What's the expected usage for an Instructor Boot Camp?
How much for a Rifleman Boot Camp?

I should have enough for my needs on hand, but have some interested folks that may not be able to scrounge enough ammo for themselves. I'd like to sell them some of mine, but want to make sure I retain enough for myself.

IBC doesn't usually require ammo.  RBC requires a lot!  Check out the following link to see how much ammo you need:  http://appleseedusa.org/bc_whattobring.html

Current round counts may vary nationwide due to extreme ammo shortages. Our web page has reflected and generalized the round count for the 2 day standard event here:
http://appleseedusa.org/as_prepare.html

Notice: During the present shortage of .22 ammo of all kinds, Appleseed offers a new Low Round Count Course of Fire, so that instead of the usual 400-500 rounds we suggest you bring 200 rounds. Be sure to check with the Shoot Boss of your event to see if it is an LRC event. Always, as long as this shortage lasts, if you can bring more to share with others on a cost reimbursement basis, please do so.

So I would contact your local Shoot Boss, State or Regional Coordinator just to check.  O0
Some areas/events have more ammo available in stores and at shoots to be purchased.
But as you know, you do want to show up counting on purchasing ammo at a shoot unless it is pre-arranged!  ;)

My 2 day events here in NM now average 200-300 rds, 3 day FD RBC average 250-300 and a full on RBC is a third to half of the current round count listed.
As always bring more if you can as we may shoot more depending on many factors.
When things get back on line, round counts may change again.

Ha!  I've never brought a .22lr to an RBC - Just the CF.

In full disclosure, however, I've never actually signed up as a shooter.
The Instructors don't get as much trigger time. :'(
