I've seen that in the past. There has been some discussion it may have staged, faked or altered. I have a difficult time with the shot, stupidity, no obvious injury, being filmed and filming continuing as a coincidence.

I'm with you on this one and several other s like it.
Seems made for gun grabbers and others who always know how stupid gun owners are .

I could change my mind on this being faked with where,when and who it happened too.
Unfortuately in the past there was not a source to verify .

There was no finger on the trigger, so coulda been a hangfire (due to ancient or improperly stored ammo) but that is really stretching it.
I say a likely fake.
