Project Appleseed

Excellent Question from the Kentucky Appleseed State Forum.

"Does the prospect of imminent infringement upon our God-given, Constitutionally-protected rights scare you?"

Yes it does.

But it also makes me feel proud of the time, talent and treasure I have invested into the Appleseed Program.

The lines of Americans, who were woken up to their heritage.

The lines of Americans who learned of the sacrifices made by  people that we honor by sharing their stories.

The lines of Americans who were taught proficiency with a Rifle.

The lines of Americans who were encouraged to begin participating in our system of Government.

When somebody asks me what have you done to protect the Second Amendment, I can honestly look them in the eye and say more than most.

And so can you. But enough of the feel good stuff.

These are not Icebergs on the horizon.

This is a scarlet red serpentine snake with steel bayonets for fangs
  marching onto Lexington Green.

The only thing standing between them and Second Amendment is the
American People. There is no question that a full out assault on our
Second Amendment Rights is underway.

Just as General Gage sent LT Col. Smith to disarm the colonists by
seizing their powder and ball.

So have the regular crowd of Second Amendment Infringers, have begun
their attempt by introducing new laws.

Time to practice the Civic Participation we encourage.

If you watch the news, read the paper and surf the web, you might be feeling discouraged. Don't be.

They're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us... they can't get away this time.
