Mac and I ran a 5 shooter line this morning at the Bend of the River Conservation Club picnic. We had a couple of dozen shooters try out our LTR's on a redcoat target. Mac told the story of Daniel Morgan to several groups and I think we may have recruited a few IIT's.

Everyone had fun and I think this will contribute to filling the line there in September.

PitMaster can put on a great picnic! Roast pork, as always, was excellent. One lucky raffle ticket holder won a takedown 10/22.

Hope someone can add some!

I'll post a little more later.

I would like to add that the Ruger 10/22 takedown included a complimentary registration furnished by Appleseed. Thanks Lawrence.

I didn't take any pictures. AS did create a lot of member interest. I think they were the most popular bay of the nine we had. Although the 3 gun Zombie targets and NFA bay were the runners up.

Mac and  TC did a great job and the members really enjoyed it.

Captain Noah Cook a Revolutionary War Veteran was my great, great, great,...great grandfather. Noah Cook enlisted in the militia on April 21, 1775 at age 18 upon learning of the Battles of Lexington and Concord that morning. His company left on that day for Concord arriving April 24, 1775.*

Thanks much gentlemen for doing this!  I wish I was there for the cameraderie (and the roast pork) but I was camping with the family unit up near Traverse City.

Good job!!

There are picnic pictures posted on the home page of BORCC.org.  Thank you gentlemen for contributing to our picnic and allowing this rookie to join in the fun as a substitute instructor.

Mac - I'm not sure why, but I am receiving an error when I try to access the page that you have a link too.  I would like to see the pictures that you have from the event.

It is an internal AAR and non-instructors don't have access. So what you need to do is shoot rifleman, if you haven't already and become an instructor., hint, hint, Or, join up as a Blue Hat like Pitmaster.  I'll put the photos up here so can see them. They are on my other computer so they will go up when I get access to it.
