Project Appleseed

We had some requests for doing a Friday/Saturday event in Lapeer.  The thought was, some people are not willing to give up Sunday worship.  Perhaps we would attract those people that would not otherwise do a weekend event.

OH MY!  Yesterday I checked and the event was posted with all 14 spots remaining. (it is a small venue)

Now there are only 2 left!

PS:  Anyone know of a bigger range in Lapeer county?

ok,,,  It is sold out! With a month and a half to go.  That is the fastest Michigan has ever sold out and event.

Hi, we will be attending the Friday/Sat this weekend July 27/28.  What is the daily schedule (start/end time)?  I see that it starts 8:30 Friday am, but I cannot find any other info.

I will be running the event. Thanks for coming!

We will start at 8:30 AM on Friday and go until about 5:00 PM. Saturday will start at 9:00 AM and will wrap up around 4:00 PM

If I could recommend any one activity prior to an Appleseed event, it would be to stretch. Shooting positions are not usually naturally comfortable. A few days of stretching out will be invaluable.

Thanks for the reply, schedule sounds good.  And thanks for the tip on stretching - it will be helpful I'm sure.

One more question - my kids are registered, but one of them may not be able to attend.  We'd like to bring a substitute instead, a friend of another one of our kids who has done an appleseed before.  Is that OK?  I assume there is some paperwork to sign for minors, is it possible to get an advance copy for his parents to sign, or is there another procedure to do this properly?

Parent or legal guardian will need to sign this.  The club has  its own waiver.  I'll PM a couple of guys to try to get a copy of it to you.  Please bring the signed copies with you on Friday.
