Congrats to Michigan's newest ShootBoss.....SWAMP THING!   O0

It seems like just a year ago he was a young aspiring shooter.   Oh, actually it was exactly a year ago that he attended his first shoot. 

Now he is wearing green!  Nice job brother.

Swampy has jumped in with both feet and we are so much better for it.

It was my honor and pleasure to present Swampy with the Green Hat this weekend (yes, I have one or two left over). 

Steve is a very gifted instructor, and has a natural way to take charge, but keep people relaxed at the same time.

As I've said before as other eagles have left the nest, my only regret is that it means we'll be working far fewer events together.

Congrats, brother.

Now, everyone back to work.  Country to save and all...... ~~:)

I use photobucket, and post a link to the photo using the image button, the leftmost on the bottom row of buttons on the post reply screen.

PS - a score of 49 on stage 3 of the AQT tells me you have all the tools in your toolbox.  A Rifleman persists and overcomes all adversity.  You've done an amazing job raising your boys.  Shooting 210 on the AQT is a cakewalk compared to what you've accomplished as a parent.  You're a mom - you know how to be a rock in a sea of turmoil.  Practice, find your inner calm, and shoot the dang AQT.  We are waiting patiently with an Orange Hat with your name on it......

Good grief,

I've been so busy I completely forgot to come back here and thank everyone. My apologies.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm humbled.

From a first time student a year ago, to an orange hat working my first shoot on July 4th weekend, to a green hat on Patriots day weekend. It's been a wild ride. And no time to slow down yet. Plenty of work to do.

Thanks again folks, I can truly say that I've met some of the best people in my life right here in Appleseed.

Now get back to work everybody!  ~~:)
