I am looking for a good Beam scale and the 10-10 seems to be the most recomended but while looking for one to buy I came accross a 10-0-05 that looked identical. Can anyone tell me the difference between these two? Is one better then the other? Thanks

Nickle

Both are good. The main difference is the amount of grains the small side of the beam is graduated to. One does 10 grains (10-10), the other 5 grains (10-0-5).

They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy

Sounds like New Englanders to me.
